Aalisha Panwar who played the female lead in Star Bharat’s show Meri Gudiya opens up on the show going off-air. The Actress mentions that she’ll miss her time on the sets of the show.

Due to the current situation of the on-going global pandemic of Covid-19, many industries including the entertainment sector has suffered a loss. Several Television shows have been called off due to the current scenario and they won’t be returning post lockdown. Recently it was also reported that Star Bharat’s popular show ‘Meri Gudiya’ starring Aalisha Panwar, Gaurav S Bajaj and Jinisha Bhaduri has been axed due to the current situation.

Speaking to the Times of India, Aalisha Panwar opened up on the same and stated that she’ll miss her time on the sets of the show. Aalisha shared that it is sad that the show had to be axed before the lockdown completely got over. She also added that they were prepared to shoot for it after the lockdown but due to all the current crisis, the show had to be pulled off.

She further added that that it was disheartening but whatever happens, happens for a good reason and she will always cherish her memories of working with this team. She also mentioned that it was a wonderful and a different experience as she got an opportunity to be a part of the show which belonged to the fantasy supernatural genre. Aalisha believes that the sad thing is that when they were shooting the last day before the lockdown was announced, they didn’t even know that it was their last day on the set. However, the good thing is that they got a chance to celebrate 50 episodes together and she will miss her time on the sets of Meri Gudiya.
